Our First Visitors!

I can't believe I haven't posted this yet - we had our first visitors in our new home a few weeks ago! Erin and baby Jack flew from Jackson to see us for a long weekend, and it was such balm for our souls! We moved them into our guest quarters, and all got along as if we hadn't been apart - well, except for the girls not letting E out of our sight! They were besides themselves to have her back, and Jack, too. Sweet Annie would sit next to Jack on his play-mat and make up songs for him, and she and Lucy would fight over who got to kiss him or hand him toys or put his pacifier back in. We took her to all of our favorite haunts, on some new adventures, and tried our very best to kidnap them forever. There really are no friends like old friends.

The worst part was having to let them go - they are the kind it just breaks your heart to say goodbye to.
