I still don't believe we live in this place

This weekend has been the St. Louis Art Fair in Clayton (our neigbhoring neighborhood of sorts). We went this morning for several hours and were amazed. It was really fabulous - the art, the things for kids to do, the food, the entertainment, everything. Such a first-class event and right in our back yard. We discovered several new favorite artists, the girls made numerous crafts, Lucy decided her life calling is to be a prima ballerina and also tried her hand(s) at making pottery, we heard some fabulous jazz, the girls ate their FIRST TED DREWES' FROZEN CUSTARD (this should merit its' very own post...), we drank yummy beer, ate fabulous toasted ravioli, Annie had her first face-painting (she was verrry pleased), and a good time was had by all. I think we're going to try to make early church tomorrow so we can get back to the art fair to see the magician at 11:00...Lucy is so intrigued by magic these days.

It's so fun to live in a place where there's so much to do, all the time. We really do love it here.
